Various Shots of My Life :)

Here's some interesting things about me for posterity sake:

1. I can roll from my back to my stomach now
2. I have discovered that I can make noise! The last 3 days I've been talking up a storm.

3. I sleep from 9:00pm to 7:00am 19 out of 20 nights (a boy has to have a little leeway)
4. I love to have my feet played with and tickled.

5. I love it when all I have on is a diaper! I kick and flail my arms and have a good time!
6. I've acquired the ability to move 'down'. As in the picture above, I started out under the gym and slowly moved down until this is where I was 5 minutes later.

7. I love to stand up on someone's lap and look around.
8. I wear #3 diapers now - I'm growing up!
9. At my 4-month checkup I weighed 16 pounds and was 26 inches long (90th percentile for height, 50th for weight).
10. I LOVE my daddy. When he comes home from work I get SOOO excited, and I love to look at him from across the room and watch him and when he looks at me I smile SO big! He makes me laugh so much :)

Natural Science Museum

Last week when Nana came to watch I got to go on a field trip to the Natural Science Museum with Nana, Millie, and Aunt Rachel.

Nana had to make sure we knew that we needed to behave b/c we were being WATCHED.

Look at this fine specimen of a....well, I'm not really sure what it is, but it's pretty cool. Nana's starting my education early :)

I love riding on Daddy's shoulders

As many of you know, we've been having a ton of landscaping work done by our friends at Pinehaven Nursery, so here I am, off to survey the finished product.

It's looking mighty nice. Momma forgot to take 'before' pictures, but let me assure you, the way to describe it would be 'a barren wasteland of weeds, sand, and broken brick' before they came in.

Loropetalums, camelias, abelias, and sod - lovely, lovely sod - we actually have GRASS in our backyard now, something we've never had even before the storm.

Jumping in my new Johnny-Jump-Up from Millie. I didn't quite know what to think about it at first, but then I kinda liked it.

One of Momma's cousins sent us this engraved frame and it was so cool I thought you needed to see it. This is so Momma never forgets my birthday and my need for a party and CAKE!

Last night we had some friends over and Daddy grilled burgers and brats. Yum!

After so much activity I needed to relax watching a little Cosby Show with Daddy.

I'm such a Daddy's boy :)

Where's the Baby?

One night I was cooking dinner and started hearing Cole just cackling with laughter so I came to see what was so funny. We now play "Where's the baby?" with him regularly.

Daddy Time!!

Here I am having some man-time with Daddy. Even men need to know how to do some domestic duties, though, so I'm learning how to do laundry.

Ready for church!

This was a few hours before I gave these clothes a run for their money...I'll let you guess what happened.

Even young kids need fashion sense. See how my green frog matches momma's green sweater, and her brown shirt matches my brown courdoroys. I think I'm the coolest kid in nursery.

Sleepy Time

I love to chew on my burp cloths...

And sometimes I fall asleep while doing so. A few days ago momma came to check on me and Iwas sleeping serenely with my burp cloth over my face.

Some people pay big bucks for a moist towelette over their faces at a spa...I'm like my Aunt Carolyn, though, I love a good deal and it doesn't get any cheaper than a do-it-yourself moist towelette.

What my days are like

A little playing by myself....

I still love to take naps on Momma....

A little playing with Daddy....he's my favorite playmate

That's about the summary of my day :)

talking to daddy on the phone
