Pulling a Grandpa
Nice ride, huh?
Exploring in the beautiful weather
It's been really nice weather the last few days so Mommy took me outside to enjoy it. What shall I do first...
An ACORN! I LOVE acorns! Despite Mommy's vigilence I was still able to get several of them in my mouth before she could stop me. She swiped them out immediately though so I didn't even really get a good taste.

Beach Trip to Orange Beach
Last weekend we went to Orange Beach, AL with Mimi and Grandpa, Mamena, Aunt Jill and Andrew, Aunt Lauren and Clifford, and Mommy & Daddy. It was great weather so they hauled me out to the pool for some fun. I was a little tentative most of the time, but the last day I really enjoyed it. I just like my feet to be on the bottom of the pool all the time so I stay in the shallow end.
On a beach trip, what's the one thing you know you'll need? Swim trunks you guess? You would be right, but Mommy apparently doesn't think so b/c she didn't bring mine so I swam in regular shorts - slightly embarrassing but my cuteness made up for it.
The zero entry pool was fun but a little tricky. I was trying to crawl along it and rolled in - it's not exactly flat.
Tolerating it. I really did have fun on the last day, though. It's just so tricky to get a baby out to the pool with everyone in swimwear, sunscreened, with towels and accessories at the same time that the baby is not hungry or tired. It's nearly impossible says Mommy.
Venturing onto the beach
My personality tends to be on the cautious side until I'm very comfortable with something, and the sand was no exception. It was a little scary, and this hat on my head didn't help (if you don't remember from previous posts, I have hated hats since the day I was born - this one has a strap which I faught valiantly against but to no avail)
Beach Trip to Orange Beach
The condo we stayed in is the tall one in the background. It was really nice and even had its own loopy water slide and lazy river! And yes, my parents took me on the water slide :)
Me and Daddy
If I were only a half inch taller!
This little stunt spurred mommy to re-arrange of all the lower kitchen cabinets and drawers because I pinched my lip in Mommy's garlic press that I swiped from this drawer (and let's not talk about the pizza cutter, citrus zester, and vegetable peeler that I also got out - miraculously no injuries with those, though).

Helping Outside
After helping inside, I thought the flower beds could use some attention. I should let my other young friends know, though, that dirt does not taste as good as it looks, but if you're determined to taste it you have to be very fast before your mommy wrestles it out of your mouth.
